In 2000, ISAAP Branch started FBF for its members with the leadership of Dr. SC Parakh & Dr. G Surender Reddy; a family support scheme for the members of ISAAP state in case of his/her demise.

In 2001, at Ahamadabad AGBM under the leadership of National Secretary Dr. B Radhakrishnan this was accepted as a ISA National programme and was open to all ISA members; with Dr. SSC Chakra Rao as Convener and Dr. KRN Tagore as President ISA FBF with the head quarter at Kakinada.

In 2014, ISA National Governing Council decided to takeover the ISA FBF under National GC and with an executive body of ISA FBF.

From 2015, onwards ISA FBF is working under ISA National GC, with Dr. J Ranganathan as its President, Dr. Sugu Varghese as its Hon. Secretary and Dr. Abraham Cherian as treasurer; with head quarter at Cochin.
